Thrace Group Stands Out at the Environmental Awards 2024 with 4 Major Awards


We are delighted to announce that Thrace Pack has once again been recognized at the Environmental Awards 2024.

The event was held on Monday the 30th of September in Anais Club by BoussiasCommunications, where Thrace Pack received a total of four awards for the sustainable practices and initiatives implemented at its plants.

Specifically, the Ioannina plant of THRACE PACK was awarded with:

  • Gold Award in the category Waste Prevention for the Operation Clean Sweepprogram.
  • Silver Award in the category Waste Reduction for the Zero Waste to Landfillprogram.
  • Silver Award in the category Circular Economy for the In the Loop initiative.
  • Bronze Award in the category Energy Conservation for minimizing energy consumption through more efficient equipment use.
