Thrace Group earns Gold Award at the Impact BITE Awards 2019.

The business awards’ event, organized by Boussias Communications under the auspices of SEPE (Business Association of Information Technology & Communications), and attended by 580 market professionals, aims at showcasing and awarding the best practices and innovative ICT projects of the year.

Thrace Pack has been distinguished for the implementation of the SenseOne IoT platform in both of its plants in Xanthi and Ioannina; this investment focuses at collecting, processing and analysing data on an automated and timely basis, to improve the energy savings and operational efficiency of Thrace Pack facilities. The state-of-the-art platform allows to calculate and track the Key Energy Performance Indicators of specific production machines, auxiliary plants and entire plants.

Efficient energy use and management is among the top priorities for Thrace Pack, which designs its production lines and makes new investments always in view of sustainable growth.
