Thrace Group sponsors Hellastock 2014

Helping students build their idea for an ephemeral hanging city

With a genuine concern for young engineers and their first “learning by doing” experiences, Thrace Group sponsored the Hellastock Workshop that was held in Athens and Piraeus between August 28 and September 4, 2014. HELLAΣTOCK, the Greek member of the international Bellastock network, brought together 170 student architects and designers from all around Europe to work upon and implement their designs for an “Ephemeral City”.  The hanging city that was constructed in the port of Piraeus as a result of the workshop, opened as an exhibition on September 4th. Thrace Group provided all ropes and fabrics that were used by the participants in their constructions.
